REACH Health Services of the Institutes for Behavior Resources, Inc. (I ) is seeking a FULL-TIME REVENUE CYCLE MANAGEMENT (RCM) DIRECTOR to join its team. This strategic position oversees revenue cycle operations, billing, accounts receivable, reimbursement, grants management, and revenue optimization to ensure the organization's financial strength and sustainability.

The RCM Director is responsible for maximizing revenue, maintaining regulatory and payer compliance, strengthening internal controls, and driving process improvements that support continued access to life-changing care. Responsibilities include:

Revenue Cycle Leadership: Direct all aspects of the revenue cycle, including billing, coding, claims management, accounts receivable, collections, reimbursement, and denial management to optimize revenue and cash flow.
Financial Performance & Revenue Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to maximize reimbursement, improve collection performance, reduce denials, and strengthen the organization's financial sustainability.
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, payer requirements, Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and organizational policies while overseeing audits, reviews, and corrective action activities.
Grants Management: Oversee the financial administration of grant-funded programs, including budgeting, revenue tracking, reporting, compliance, reconciliation, and audit readiness.
Data Analytics & Performance Management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators, dashboards, and reporting tools to evaluate revenue cycle performance, reimbursement trends, grant performance, and financial outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Clinical Operations, Compliance, Program Leadership, and Executive Leadership to resolve revenue-impacting issues, support financial planning, and drive operational improvements.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop revenue cycle and accounts receivable staff through coaching, performance management, training, and professional development.
Systems & Process Improvement: Oversee billing system enhancements, workflow redesign, payer credentialing and enrollment processes, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.

Work Schedule:

This is a 40 hour/week, full-time, exempt-level position working on-site from 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday. Work from home is conditionally permitted up to one day per week, on a pre-approved day, provided there are no in-person meetings and no adverse impact on immediate tasks.

Pay & Benefits:

In compliance with Maryland's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, I is committed to providing transparent wage information for all posted job opportunities. The salary for this position is $95-145k annually. Compensation is determined based on factors such as Licensure, Education, Experience, and Internal Equity.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
8+ years of progressive revenue cycle, healthcare billing, financial operations, or reimbursement experience, with demonstrated leadership responsibility.

Other Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, managed care, behavioral health, healthcare reimbursement, and government-funded programs.
Experience independently managing large-scale healthcare revenue operations and accounts receivable.
Demonstrated experience improving collection rates, reducing denials, and strengthening billing processes.
Experience with EHR, billing, clearinghouse, and financial management systems; familiarity with Methasoft a plus.
