Streamline Wellness Center (SWC) focuses on improving the social and emotional well-being of youth and their families in Greater Richmond. The primary responsibilities of this role include leading Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) groups and offering personalized, client-centered therapeutic support for a range of behavioral health challenges. By joining the team, you will be vital to the organization's mission of providing equitable and accessible educational programs alongside mental and behavioral healthcare services.

• Outpatient Therapy: Provide individualized counseling to individuals, families, and groups with mental health concerns. They assess clients, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy. They maintain clinical documentation, monitor progress, and coordinate care with other providers.
• Facilitation of SEL Groups: Lead structured SEL sessions in diverse settings such as public school classrooms, after-school programs, and community centers. These sessions aim to nurture resilience and self-confidence, helping individuals recognize their ability to overcome challenges and thrive . Focusing on the five core competencies of the CASEL framework (self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making), the primary focus includes fostering healthy self-images, effective communication, and positive relationships among facilitators and participants.
• Client Case Management: Provide individualized support by maintaining a caseload of clients, offering counseling services tailored to address issues like coping with trauma, managing anxiety or depression, and mitigating the effects of adverse experiences.
• Community Engagement Initiatives: Foster community partnerships by collaborating with local businesses, schools, and non-profit organizations. These partnerships allow SWC to build relationships, share resources, and work with the community on local issues.
• Program Development and Evaluation: Assist in designing and assessing the effectiveness of SEL curricula and community programs to ensure they meet the community's evolving needs.

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution with License eligibility as a Social Worker (LPC, LCSW) in Virginia
• Previous experience working in the mental health field
• Experience facilitating group sessions, particularly on building Social and Emotional Learning skills
• Ability to manage a diverse outpatient caseload, providing individualized, client-centered therapeutic care and coordinating support services as needed
• Strong work ethic by consistently arriving on time, delivering high-quality work, and contributing to a positive, team-oriented workplace culture
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with team members, clients, families, and community partners
• Commitment to culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care practices

The salary starts at $60,000 . The hybrid work model includes flexible work-from-home arrangements on Mondays and Fridays, with Tuesdays through Thursdays spent onsite.
