This FLOAT position offers a unique opportunity to support 10 clinics throughout the Charlottesville area, allowing you to expand your skills, gain exposure to multiple specialties and teams, and continue growing within the organization. Position Details:
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday–Friday day shift

Job Description As a Patient Care Specialist with Sentara Healthcare, you will provide non-clinical support within a physician's office and ensure excellent patient experience by performing a variety of complex administrative tasks to support patient care delivery. Primary duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, and answering patient questions. In this role, you will find that teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the best care for our patients.

Must have ability to communicate with insurance carriers and discharge planners in a professional manner. Must be enthusiastic and energetic.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalency REQUIRED

Experience:

The base pay range for full-time employment is $21.69 - $32.44 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
