Qualifications and Desired

Skills:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)    
• Proven experience in school settings or with pediatric populations    
• Familiarity with home health, teletherapy, and healthcare-based OT interventions    
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams    
• Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and environments while remaining organized and proactive    
• Dedication to fostering student growth and independence through creative and evidence-based interventions

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with various needs    
• Deliver direct therapy services in schools, virtually, and/or in-home based on student requirements    
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to maximize student outcomes    
• Document progress and communicate effectively with all stakeholders    
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to educational planning    
• Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in pediatric and school-based occupational therapy
