What We Offer School Based Therapists at Pawnee have the opportunity to earn up to $9,000 per year in bonus pay by meeting their client care expectations and by holding groups. Compensation is structured based on licensure and scope of practice, with fully licensed clinical therapists eligible for higher starting pay due to independent practice authority and expanded clinical responsibilities.

What You'll Do
Provide mental health care in schools, community and office based locationsTravel from home office to local school-based office as assignedProvide psycho-educational services to the school community as assigned by School based Services ManagerServe as the expert clinical voice in school meetings including but not limited to trauma responsive support plans, IEP meetings, and SIT meetings for assigned schoolsProvide diagnostic intakes and SED waiver assessment services to K-12 youth using clinical training and the latest version of the DSMDeliver trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy services to individuals, families, and groups in the school settingComplete agency trainings up to and including certification in evidenced based treatment modelsCollaborate consistently with school community, other treatment team members, and natural supports to ensure a wrap-around approach is provided for continuity of careCreate and maintain person-centered treatment plans based on clients' unique needsDemonstrate sensitivity to all cultural and ethnic differences.Provide clinical supervision toward independent licensing to staff as qualified by licensing and as assigned.Monitor client progress through ongoing assessmentMeet administrative and clinical documentation requirements both in terms of content and timeliness.Meet direct service expectations in terms and comply with other established productivity standards as established.Maintain advanced knowledge and skills related to trauma informed school-based care through continuing education per state licensure requirementsPerform all other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or other management personnel.Requirements Required
Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work or related fieldCurrent, active, unencumbered license as an LPC, LMFT, LMLP, or LMSW (a temporary license will be considered eligible)Experience providing therapy services to children under 17.Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasksAbility and desire to work as part of a clinical team while also able to be self-directed and motivated with minimal supervisionStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to exercise sound clinical judgment in routine, urgent, and emergent clinical situationsAbility to acquire and effectively practice new clinical skills as needed according to evolving agency needs/servicesAbility to effectively utilize Microsoft Office SuiteMaintain a valid driver's licenseAll employees will be required to submit to and pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred
