Voshell's Pharmacy | Remote, Maryland-licensed | Contract (1099), 10 to 20 hours per week Rate: $65 to $90 per hour, based on clinical experience and specialty depth

Why this role exists

Voshell's is a Baltimore compounding pharmacy that has served patients for nearly a century, licensed in five states and growing. Our patients come to us for BHRT, metabolic health, thyroid, and gut protocols, and they deserve more than a dispensed prescription. We are building a functional medicine clinical pharmacy service to match, and we are looking for a clinical pharmacist who loves building something new and loves teaching even more.

What

you will build
  • The Health-Span Program. Design and launch three clinical tracks:
Midlife Metabolic Reset, Heart & Hormones Blueprint, and Stronger Bones. You will shape the intake criteria, lab panels, monitoring cadence, and referral guidelines.
  • Clinical consultation framework. Create how Voshell's delivers pharmacist consultations: structure, documentation, lab review, and when to refer back to the prescriber.
  • Prescriber partnership. Serve as a trusted clinical resource to prescribers on compounded therapy selection, dosing, and monitoring.
  • Patient consults. Deliver consultations within the framework you build, and help train our team to support it.
  • Education and webinars. Be the face of Voshell's clinical education. Host webinars for prescribers and patients on topics like hormone health, thyroid, gut health, and metabolic wellness. Create educational content that helps people understand their options, and help our team grow its own clinical knowledge.
  • Functional medicine partnership. Build relationships with functional and integrative medicine practitioners, bringing a root-cause, whole-person approach to every therapy conversation.
What you bring
  • PharmD with an active Maryland pharmacist license in good standing
  • Clinical pharmacist background: residency (PGY1/PGY2), fellowship, BCPS/BCACP, or equivalent direct patient care experience in ambulatory care, primary care, or collaborative practice
  • Compounding knowledge, plus clinical depth in at least two of: BHRT, thyroid, gut health, metabolic/GLP-1 therapy
  • Confidence interpreting labs and making clear, well-documented recommendations
  • A genuine love of teaching, and comfort presenting live to prescribers and patients
  • Passion for functional medicine and a whole-person approach to care
Preferred
  • Functional or integrative medicine training or certification (for example IFM)
  • Webinar, CE, or public speaking experience
  • Experience building a clinical service or program from the ground up
  • Additional state licenses
  • Ability to educate in a second language
Our core values
  • Own It End to End. We take pride in seeing things through. When you pick something up, you carry it all the way to the finish, and we celebrate the results you create.
  • Say It to the Room. Every voice matters here. We share ideas and concerns openly and respectfully, make a decision together, and then support it as one team.
  • Better Than Yesterday. We are always learning. Each day is a chance to grow a little more, and we support each other as the standard rises.
  • Strengthen the Chain. Every role matters, and we succeed together. The best teammates help the people around them grow.
  • The Patient Is the Point. Everything we do comes back to the people we serve and the care they deserve.
  • Integrity above all. Honesty about our work is the foundation everything else rests on. We ask that every record be accurate and every mistake be raised right away, because that is how we keep patients safe and how we earn each other's trust.
Our commitment to diversity

Our diversity and inclusivity are part of how we care for patients, and part of how we build our team. Our patients come from every background, culture, and walk of life, and we believe the best care comes from a team that reflects and understands them. We warmly welcome applicants of every race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, disability, and background.

If this role excites you but you don't check every box, we still encourage you to apply. (An active Maryland pharmacist license is the one true must-have.)
