- Independently perform retrospective reconciliation of complex CDI reviews and final coded records.
- Interpret and apply official coding guidelines, regulatory requirements, and compliant query practices.
- Collaborate with CDI Specialists, Coding Professionals, and Physician Advisors to resolve discrepancies.
- Analyze findings to identify systemic issues and advise leadership on improvements.
- Associate's degree in healthcare field and 5+ years of CDI experience or inpatient coding experience.
- Active RN license or AHIMA CCS credential required; CCDS or CDIP certification preferred.
- Professional office environment with remote work option.
- Sedentary role involving sitting, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
