Job Description SummaryAll Care Therapies is hiring avirtual
Physical Therapist to deliver compassionate care to clients across the lifespan. The therapist is a team member of a multidisciplinary team and collaborates with others to establish a plan of care and has the ability to treat clients that are prone to a range of physical disabilities.
Experience with RTMis preferred.
- Conduct assessments and record reviews to determine physical condition, limitations,medical histories, and personal goals.
- Evaluate patients' strength, flexibility, range of motion, neurological status, balance, and ambulation orwheelchair mobility.
- Diagnose movement dysfunction through listening, observation and physical assessment.
- Create and update treatment plans, with specific goals and tasks to help clients progress.
- Deliver effective therapy, including exercises, remote therapeutic monitoring programs, neuromuscular re-education and functional activities to promote participation in daily activities.
- Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, therapists, and other members of the client’s care team.
- Track progress, update goals, and adapt plans of care based on response to treatment intervention.
- Complete all HIPAA compliant clinical notes in a timely manner using the company’s EMR system.
- Contribute to meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care plans.
- Serves and protects the physical therapy practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
- Unrestricted Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Experience as a physical therapist
- Active California License
- Current active state PT license required
- Continued education requirements maintained
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess good time management skills
- Constantly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- Constantly able to crawl, stoop, bend and sit on thefloor
- Have good close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust for various lighting.
