Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Remote Therapist New York | 100% Remote | Part-Time | Flexible Schedule

Aurora Wellness is seeking a New York Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our growing outpatient behavioral health practice.

This is a 100% remote, flexible part-time psychotherapy position for an LCSW who wants to build a consistent outpatient caseload without the administrative burden of operating a private practice.

Aurora provides patient referrals, insurance credentialing, billing support, malpractice coverage, a modern EHR, clinical support, and practice infrastructure—allowing you to focus on providing excellent therapy.

Position Snapshot
  • Position: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) / Outpatient Therapist
  • Location: 100% Remote – New York
  • Employment: Part-Time
  • Compensation: $70 per completed therapy session/hour
  • Clinical Focus: Individual outpatient psychotherapy
  • Patient Referrals: Aurora-supported patient acquisition plus internal referrals from our psychiatry and interventional psychiatry programs
  • Administrative Support: Credentialing, billing, patient acquisition, scheduling infrastructure, and EHR provided
  • Additional Support: Malpractice coverage, clinical support, and eligible licensing reimbursement
Compensation & Scheduling

LCSWs are compensated $70 per completed therapy session/hour

You choose your availability and can build a recurring caseload around your existing professional and personal commitments.

This position can be a strong fit for therapists looking to supplement an existing role, expand their outpatient clinical work, or develop a consistent part-time caseload without taking on the administrative responsibilities of private practice.

Built-In Psychiatry & Spravato® Referral Network

One of the advantages of practicing at Aurora is the opportunity to work within an integrated behavioral health organization.

In addition to Aurora's broader patient acquisition efforts, therapists may receive internal referrals directly from our psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and interventional psychiatry programs.

This includes opportunities to provide psychotherapy to patients receiving Spravato® (esketamine) treatment for treatment-resistant depression when clinically appropriate.

Our integrated model allows therapists and psychiatric providers to collaborate around patients who benefit from both psychotherapy and psychiatric treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individual psychotherapy to adult patients through secure telehealth
  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Establish and maintain longitudinal therapeutic relationships
  • Utilize evidence-based, patient-centered psychotherapy approaches
  • Monitor symptoms, treatment progress, and clinical outcomes
  • Update treatment plans as clinically appropriate
  • Provide appropriate psychoeducation and therapeutic interventions
  • Identify changes in clinical acuity and coordinate higher levels of care when necessary
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and other behavioral health professionals when clinically appropriate
