- Remote coding auditor supporting coding quality across a large regional health network.
- Conducts independent audits for accuracy, compliance, and reimbursement.
Key Accountabilities:
- Reviews ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, DRG, modifier, and bundling assignments.
- Maintains 95% audit accuracy and delivers facility-specific education.
Requirements:
- Active RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CPC credential with 2+ years coding experience.
- 3+ years consultant experience in tertiary-care and outpatient settings.
- U.S. citizenship and NACI background clearance.
Compensation:
- $38.00 per hour, full-time or part-time, remote in the U.S.
- Contract runs Jan 2027–Dec 2031 if all options exercised.
