Senior Health Promotion Specialist

We are currently seeking a dedicated, motivated and entrepreneurially minded Senior
Health Promotion Specialist with a passion for developing and implementing holistic well-being programs for a high-profile corporate client.

This role offers remote work flexibility within the United States, with the expectation of periodic travel to New York, NY;
Parsippany & Jersey City, NJ;
Houston, TX;
Chicago, IL;
Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC office locations for business needs.

• Assess employees’ health needs using audit tools and client and employee feedback in order to develop and deploy appropriate well-being solutions and programming.
• Coordinate, develop and deliver a range of programs that educate members on how to improve their health and well-being.
• Partner with the client, vendors and community organizations to plan, coordinate, and execute workplace well-being strategies, programs, events, and benefit fairs that enhance employee health, resilience, and overall experience.
• Coordinate health and well-being marketing and communications relating to the workplace’s on-site and virtual spaces in order to promote healthy behavior and health care engagement.
• Report on engagement, referrals, workplace well-being initiatives and results in order to demonstrate improvement in baseline metrics.
• Ability to present information, recommendations, and program updates to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., health promotion, health education, public health).
• Three or more years of experience in health promotion, health management, human resources and organizational behavior or a related field.
• The ability to multi-task, and to execute time-management, problem-solving, organizational and follow-up skills.
• Strong technical and regulatory knowledge.
• The ability to network, engage and interact with clients and members.
• Competence with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Health plan experience.
• Travel: This role requires travel to client locations in New York, NY;
  Parsippany & Jersey City, NJ;
  Houston, TX;
  Chicago, IL;
  Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC with frequency varying based on client needs and key stakeholder meetings.
• Ability to work within Eastern or Central Time business hours preferred.

• Master’s degree in health promotion management, public health or a related field.
• Related health promotion or public health certification, such as National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC), Well Cert Certified Wellness Practitioner or CHES (Certified Health Education Specialist).
• Five years of industry experience.
