About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Writer to join their communications team and work remotely. This position is responsible for developing high-quality scientific and medical documents that effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences, including healthcare professionals, regulatory agencies, and patients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the clarity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of a wide range of documents, from clinical study reports to regulatory submissions and publications.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, a strong scientific background, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, remote work environment, contributing to the company's transparent and effective communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Author, edit, and review a variety of medical and scientific documents, including clinical study reports (CSRs), protocols, Investigator's Brochures (IBs), and manuscripts.
  • Prepare regulatory submission documents such as New Drug Applications (NDAs), Investigational New Drug applications (INDs), and responses to regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure all documents are scientifically accurate, medically appropriate, clear, concise, and compliant with relevant guidelines and company standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, statisticians, and regulatory affairs personnel, to gather information and ensure document accuracy.
  • Manage document development timelines to meet project milestones and regulatory deadlines.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and therapeutic area developments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a life science, pharmacy, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Medical Writer in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Proven ability to write clear, concise, and scientifically accurate medical documents.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, pharmaceutical development, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in document management systems and collaborative writing tools.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently.
