We currently have a full-time opening working as a Medical Assistant in a hybrid capacity.
This role will support answering calls for patients for PCP's and Specialty Clinics. This role will be responsible for supporting patients with medication refills, sending messages, referrals and processing imaging orders.
* The preferred candidate for this position will live in Northern Colorado and have a strong Medical Assisting background working in the clinic environment.
- Shift Details:
-Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm
-Initial day of orientation in person with additional quarterly in-person requirements for meetings.

-Must be located in Northern Colorado to support on-site requirements, when needed. - Will primarily work remote. Must have reliable internet (NO WIFI, Ethernet Connection only) and a quiet work area/home office.

This position is responsible for performing administrative tasks (indirect care) that support the care team in providing direct medical care. This position utilizes the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and external resources or tools to provide a complete assessment of the patient’s health status, which includes identifying care gaps prior to the patient encounter. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment and communication skills to assure that patients get the indicated care when and where they need and want it, in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner.
Patient contact via telephone is a critical component of this position, highlighting the medical background and communication skills necessary.
