The Role We are looking for a Part Time Mental Health Provider to join our Talk Now Team Talk Now is a 247 365 on demand telehealth service that exclusively serves the higher education student population As a Part Time Mental Health Provider on our Talk Now Team you will act as a primary form of emotional support for the students and members ie faculty & staff we serve We are looking for providers who have successfully completed a masters degree in professional counseling social work andor marriage and family therapist who have worked with populations in need of crisis intervention de escalation risk assessment and safety planning

Location

We offer a remote work environment Work from home criteria includes but is not limited to maintaining your own internet with approved speed requirements a secure and HIPAA compliant workspace free from distractions and successful completion of the credentialing onboarding and training programs Adherence to HIPAA compliance standards and all policies procedures are required for this role

Schedule

24 weekly hours

  • Wednesday 600 am200 pm CST 8 hrs
  • Thursday 600 am200 pm CST 8 hrs
  • Friday 600 am200 pm CST 8 hrs
  • If the shift falls on a holiday provider will be expected to cover that daytime accordingly
  • Holiday spot bonus of 250 will be provided

Timely Expected time to spend with a client during a session is 20 minutes 10 minutes for documentation no more than 30 minute sessions total Bye bye burnout Provide remote care from the convenience of your home or office while maintaining a healthy worklife balance Hassle free Dont worry about reimbursement billing codes or insurance credentialing Timely Care does not work with insurance providers and partners directly with colleges and universities across the country Students can access and utilize Timely Cares services without the hassle of insurance or costly co pays Therapist autonomy Flexible hours that work for you Motivated clients The population Timely Care serves is made up of highly motivated high functioning students in higher education institutions who are ready to grow and engage with behavioral health services and treatment Professional boundaries Students and clients will not have access to your phone number or email

What You Bring
  • Completion of a Masters Degree MAMS in Psychology Professional Counseling Social Work or Marriage & Family Therapy with Provisional or Associate License is REQUIREDFully Licensed Mental Health Practitioner PLUS Strong clinical writing assessment and active listening skills
  • Experience with crisis intervention and de escalation
  • Experience providing therapeutic services to young adults adolescents at risk populations or have worked in a community mental health crisis support or a college counseling environment
  • Expectations Use active listening skills and evidence based modalities in order to build rapport collaborate support and progress student and client care
  • Professional conduct with all students members peers and support staff
  • Able to remain calm and adapt to the changing needs of the members we serve
  • Able to assess triage and document sessions with members potentially in crisis andor are experiencing thoughts of self harm or suicidal ideation
  • Able to respond to members who are potentially in crisis with professionalism support empathy and an awareness of cultural humility
