Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Clinical Project Manager to support a growing organization in the biotechnology and clinical research industry. The Senior Clinical Project Manager role is fully remote. The Senior Clinical Project Manager role is ideal for an experienced clinical operations leader with expertise managing global clinical trials across Cardiovascular, MASH, Hepatology, Obesity, and Dermatology therapeutic areas.
Responsibilities of the Senior Clinical Project Manager include:- Direct the planning, execution, and oversight of Phase I-IV clinical trials, ensuring studies are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison between sponsors, CROs, clinical sites, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive study objectives and milestones.
- Monitor trial progress, identify operational risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain study quality and performance.
- Oversee study timelines, enrollment metrics, vendor activities, and financial tracking to support successful clinical program execution.
- Lead cross-functional study teams and provide strategic guidance throughout protocol implementation, database lock, and study closeout activities.
- 8+ years of clinical project management experience within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO environments.
- Proven experience managing clinical trials within Cardiovascular, MASH, Hepatology, Obesity, and/or Dermatology therapeutic areas.
- Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, FDA regulations, and global clinical trial operations.
- Experience managing CROs, vendors, budgets, timelines, and multinational clinical studies.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, Nursing, or a related discipline preferred.
- $160,000 - $175,000 annually plus bonus
