My Time 2 Launch is a neurodiversity-affirming ABA therapy organization serving autistic children and adults across Florida, Georgia, and Michigan. Our Empowerment Model centers the autistic person's voice, dignity, and self-determination. We build skills that matter to the person and their family, not compliance for its own sake.
THE ROLEWe are looking for a bilingual RBT, fluent in English and Portuguese, to support an autistic child across home and school. Several mornings a week and every late afternoon are home-based sessions with the family. Midday is spent at school, working alongside teachers and school staff to help the student participate, communicate, and thrive in the classroom. Because the family's home language is Portuguese, you'll be a key bridge between home, school, and the clinical team.
You will be supervised and supported by an MT2L BCBA.
- Deliver sessions in both the home and school settings, supporting consistency across environments.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior support plans under BCBA supervision.
- Support communication, self-advocacy, social participation, and learning goals at home and at school.
- Collect accurate session data and complete session notes in our practice management system.
- Collaborate respectfully with teachers, aides, and school staff to support the student's inclusion.
- Communicate with the family in Portuguese and English, and help keep them connected to their child's progress.
- Take part in regular supervision, training, and team meetings.
- Active RBT certification with the BACB, in good standing.
- Fluency in both English and Portuguese, spoken and written.
- High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in psychology, education, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience with autistic children or school settings (preferred).
- Comfort working in family homes as well as school settings.
- A respectful, patient, and affirming approach to neurodivergent people.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a Florida Level 2 background screening and a TB test before starting.
- Consistent weekday schedule with no evenings or weekends.
- Paid time off.
- Ongoing BCBA supervision and mentorship.
- Free PDUs through our Empowerment Model RBT professional development series.
- A career path toward analyst-track roles for RBTs pursuing BCaBA or BCBA certification.
- [Add any other benefits: health insurance, mileage, etc.
My Time 2 Launch is an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity and encourage applications from neurodivergent and disabled candidates. Bilingual English/Portuguese fluency is a job requirement because the role supports a Portuguese-speaking family.
