Position Summary

Clinician Engagement is a new function at Data Spring, created to deepen the relationship between Data Spring and the clinicians and provider organizations who contribute to and rely on our data. The function exists to increase trust and positive perception within the clinician user community, improve the quality of the data clinicians provide, and grow the volume of clinicians in our database, including the number who are active and attested.

The Director, Clinician Engagement leads this function. The position builds and stewards the forums where clinicians and provider staff shape our direction, develops partnerships with the provider organizations clinicians already trust, and serves as Data Spring's internal subject matter expert on clinician perspective. The role accelerates the reach and credibility of work already underway across Marketing, Product, and Insights by bringing clinician voice and clinician relationships to it.

This is role spans strategy and execution. The Director sets direction and holds the senior relationships, and also does the hands-on work of running councils, managing partner relationships week to week, and synthesizing what clinicians say into direction the rest of the organization can act on. Success depends on convening the right clinicians, earning their sustained participation, and closing the loop so they see their input reflected in what Data Spring builds and says.

The Director, Clinician Engagement is a full-time, remote, exempt position and reports to the Chief Medical Officer. This position will require the ability to travel up to 20% of the time for council meetings, site visits, association events, and industry forums.

Support the recruitment of council members who bring specialty society and partner organization relationships alongside clinical credibility.
  • Partner with Marketing to amplify campaigns through clinician and association channels and to strengthen clinician-facing messaging.
  • Partner with Product and Data Quality teams to bring clinician and provider staff needs into design and roadmap decisions.

  • Build and manage relationships with professional associations, specialty societies, state and national medical associations, health systems, and large group practices.
  • Develop and deliver content that supports the clinician awareness work referenced above, including webinars, podcasts, conference presentations, and partner-facing materials. May include development of continuing education content for clinicians and provider staff, coordinating with partners to deploy.
  • In addition to the CMO, serve as the relationship owner for provider organization partners, representing Data Spring credibly with clinical leadership.
  • Develop and execute co-branded and partner-led approaches that extend the reach of Data Spring programs and campaigns through trusted third-party voices.
  • Coordinate partner campaigns with Marketing from planning through measurement and prepare briefing materials and follow-ups for senior partner conversations.
