Medical Biller – Full-time, remote within Tucson, $17-$20 per hour, 40 hours per week. Work a flexible schedule!

• 2+ years of recent medical billing experience required
• CMS-1500 claim processing experience highly preferred
• Must reside in Tucson
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

• Submit electronic CMS-1500 claims
• Review and scrub claims prior to submission
• Update patient financial information and account data
• Process remittances and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
• Post medical payments and account transactions
• Research and resolve claim denials
• Prepare and submit appeals when appropriate
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation
• Attend quarterly in-person meetings
