This position is primarily remote, providing you with the flexibility to manage your work environment while still engaging with clients through virtual counseling sessions. Our Community Health Clinic setting allows for collaborative interaction with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers. Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough clinical assessments to gather client histories and develop tailored treatment plans employing evidence-based practices.
- Utilize various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailoring your approach to facilitate individual client growth.
- Maintain meticulous clinical records that uphold HIPAA compliance, safeguarding the confidentiality of client information.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated treatment team to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for clients.
- Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to foster continuous improvement in care quality.
- Provide educational resources and support to patients and their families, helping them navigate mental health challenges and available community resources.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, remaining informed about the latest advancements in mental health and therapy techniques.
Your work primarily focuses on children and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health struggles, from anxiety and depression to more complex traumatic experiences. By understanding their unique perspectives and challenges, you'll provide individualized care that addresses not just the symptoms but the underlying issues that affect their well-being.
Qualifications- A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Jersey.
- A solid foundation in solution-focused psychotherapy techniques to create impactful and personalized care strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate building rapport with clients and their families.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to effectively address client needs and obstacles in therapy.

- Experience working with children and adolescents in clinical settings, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
