Medical Science Liaison
Lead medical content development and scientific review within Medical Affairs for Acadia Pharmaceuticals, supporting communication on neurological and rare disease treatments.
Responsibilities:oversee creation and review of scientific materials (e.g., slide decks, congress content, digital resources); collaborate with stakeholders for content management plans; ensure scientific accuracy across corporate, investor, commercial, and medical communications; interpret complex data and literature; serve as a subject matter expert on product knowledge, regulatory review processes, and therapeutic areas including Parkinson’s disease psychosis, Rett syndrome, Alzheimer’s, and Lewy body dementia.
Requirements:PharmD, PhD, or MD; 7+ years in Medical Affairs, with 5+ years in Scientific Communications or Medical Information; experience supporting scientific exchange activities; strong analytical, communication, and regulatory knowledge.
Preferred:experience in neuroscience or neurodegenerative diseases, familiarity with MLR/MRC processes, and proficiency with scientific literature evaluation.
High Value:neurological and rare diseases, mid- to late-stage clinical programs, scientific content creation, regulatory review, cross-functional collaboration, and remote work with travel as needed.
