United Health Group is seeking an SDS/Observations Medical Coder to work full-time (40 hours) Monday–Friday. You can telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. and will assign CPT/ICD-10 codes for outpatient Ambulatory Observation per guidelines.
Responsibilities include correcting CCI/MN Edits, understanding APC codes, and communicating with providers while maintaining quality and productivity. AHIMA/AAPC credentials and 2+ years of outpatient coding are required.
