Front Desk Volunteers

If you love people, love being at a retreat center surrounded by nature, and you’re looking for a meaningful place to volunteer your time, this is the role for you.

We are seeking friendly volunteers to staff our beautiful new front desk!

Duties include:

• Welcoming guests upon arrival and entry to building
• Pointing guests in the right direction for meeting spaces, restrooms, lodging, dining
• Answering basic questions about the grounds and facilities
• Taking comments and concerns, and forwarding them to appropriate staff
• Encouraging guests to take our guest survey
• Thanking guests upon check-out

This role is perfect for:
Students earning volunteer hours or interested in the hospitality field, remote workers and self-employed folks who want a fun workplace away from home, retirees looking for meaningful social interaction.

There will be downtime to study, work on other jobs/projects, read, etc. Note, this is an unpaid volunteer opportunity.
