The Event Sales Manager is responsible for selling weddings and events. Primary sales efforts are in Banquet Food and Beverage with a small focus on Group Room Nights and includes menu planning, agenda setting and hotel meeting services. Duties also include contract review, negotiations and business development.
The Event Sales Manager will host hotel tours, maintain strong customer relationships, participate and may lead event meetings and other team meetings, and work as a team member, including the support team, within the sales, marketing and events team and all other functions of the hotel.
Wage Information:
The starting salary for this position is $80,168.40 which is applicable for the first year of employment. The entire range for the position is $80,168.40 to $86,600. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, including experience, qualifications and education.

Qualifications
• This is an onsite position that has eligibility to work from home up to 2 days per week
• Flexibility in schedule to work some nights and weekends as needed based on event days/times
• Strong customer service and client relationship building skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• 2-3 years Hotel sales/event sales or comparable experience preferred
• Time management skills and ability to re-prioritize is needed
• Candidates should be passionate about Wedding Sales with proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
• Community involvement and/or professional association is highly regarded
• Knowledge of Hyatt Systems such as Envision and Opera and additional platforms including Q9 and Cvent are preferred and proficient use of general computer/Microsoft systems is required
