Housekeeper​/Room Attendant - Night Shift

Northstar Frontier Services provides remote site services; catering, housekeeping and management to remote work camps for construction, railroad, and mining projects in Canada and the United States.

We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high standard of cleanliness throughout the bunkhouse in an efficient timely manner. The housekeeper will be team-oriented and provide excellent customer service. The position requires the individual to have a strong attention to detail, ability to communicate, and flexibility to work a variety of shifts.

• Minimum 1 year of housekeeping experience considered an asset
• Must be able to move continuously (push, pull, stretch, walk, bend) during work hours and able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pound
• Ability to work a variety of shifts (morning, afternoons, overnights, holidays, and weekends)
• Be accessible to meet the needs of the client
• Criminal background check is conducted and paid by the employer as a condition of employment.

• Perform housekeeping duties on a daily basis
• Check all vacant rooms to ensure cleanliness
• Wash soiled linen and fold/store clean linen
• Clean washrooms and shower rooms
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors
• Ensure all Safe Operating Procedures for Housekeeping are followed and adhered to
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and conduct
• Report any repairs/maintenance issues to the Bunkhouse Manager
• Report any safety concerns/hazards immediately to the Health and Safety Manager
