Parable Hospitality is looking for a Vice President of Food & Beverage to join the team! The VP of Food & Beverage is responsible for providing oversight, leadership and support for Food & Beverage strategies and activities across all F&B venues. Additionally, the VP of F&B will provide support to other ancillary revenue departments including spa, retail and other non-room revenue departments.

This position partners with both the corporate and property teams with the primary goal of achieving desired food & beverage metrics through proactive market research, trends analysis and development of key initiatives to drive elevated results and demonstrate concepts that may be applicable to our organization. The VP of F&B harmonizes the culture, mission, values and quality standards to ensure maximum potential is achieved.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze each food & beverage department's financial performance and contribution to hotel profitability. Partner with the GM and RDO to develop strategic action plans for underperforming outlets. Review results monthly to develop actionable tactics for labor, food cost, beverage cost, procurement engagement, inventories and other expense management.
  • Visit locations to evaluate service delivery, provide guidance and support to food and beverage teams and provide a detailed trip report for each visit with measurable action items.
  • Develop effective food preparation and cost management strategies with emphasis on product quality and waste minimization.
  • Prepare, analyze and deliver food & beverage and ancillary metrics reports.
  • Review food & beverage aspects of annual budgets, business plans and monthly forecasts to ensure the smooth operation of the hotels and achievement of metrics.
  • Partner with property teams and sales/marketing to focus on banquet and catering revenue generation, delivery and profitability.
  • Balance between driving results for Food Revenue generation and Beverage Revenue generation.
  • Create processes and be accountable for ensuring collateral materials are within brand guidelines and meet the standard set forth by F&B marketing.
Talent Development and Acquisition
  • Contribute to and support strategic development and management of career paths/succession plans.
  • Develop and implement programs to train team members in procedures and techniques for effective, safe food preparation and service.
  • Develop and manage a sourcing and networking plan to ensure strong knowledge of potential candidates in the various marketplaces where Parable Hospitality operates.
  • Participate in talent acquisition for key executive food & beverage and ancillary positions in managed hotel properties.
New Builds, Transitions, and Concepts
  • Generate pro‑formas for projects & concept presentations based on market specific information.
  • Develop, then implement food & beverage/ancillary revenue strategies that align with organizational policies and goals including due diligence for TPOs for Parable Hospitality.
  • Develop food and beverage concepts and programs across multiple hotels, meeting brand, regulatory and health department requirements.
  • Develop menu, preparation and profitability models, creating market‑specific programs that are competitive and manageable.
  • Manage the food & beverage and ancillary aspects of the Operations Critical Path for openings of new hotel locations, completing all tasks on time and on budget.
  • Assist with kitchen design and capital project implementation for new and existing facilities.
Corporate Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Operations and legal representatives to develop vendor agreements as needed. Responsible for managing the F&B procurement through partners such as Food Buy and IMI.
