Job is located in Tuktoyaktuk, NWT. TO START SEPTEMBER 7, 2026. CANDIDATES WITH A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE & REMOTE CAMP EXPERIENCE WILL BE GIVEN PREFERENCE. WE COVER YOUR TRAVEL (Flight from Saskatoon to Tuktoyaktuk), MEALS, & ACCOMMODATIONS. SHIFT WORK IS REQUIRED; WORK SCHEDULES ARE 3-WEEK IN-AND-OUT ROTATIONS. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG & ALCOHOL TEST. This is dual role, fulfilling both housekeeping & general kitchen helper duties.
Reporting to the site's Chef Manager, you will work with the team to ensure company standards are met.
Duties & Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Clean rooms to required specifications.
- Sweep, mop, and wash floors.
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, and area rugs.
- Make beds.
- Collect garbage.
- Follow ACLP policies and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen & dining area.
- Assist in preparation, cooking, & serving of meals and snacks.
- Washing dishes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who are you?
- Able to perform housekeeping and kitchen general helper duties in a safe & satisfactory manner.
- Able to work in a fast, thorough, efficient manner with attention to detail.
- You have prior kitchen experience and current Safe Food Handling (preferred).
- Housekeeping experience would be an asset.
- Driven by seeing the results of your hard work immediately.
- Honest and care about doing a good job.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain a valid, recognized first aid certificate.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
Things to consider:
- Require shift work at remote & isolated locations - mining facilities & camps.
- You MUST be able to work compressed workweeks.
- Ability to fly safely.
