About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Tour Operations Executive to manage and develop exciting travel packages from their virtual office, supporting operations originating in Polokwane . This role involves designing, planning, and overseeing tour itineraries, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the quality and profitability of offered tours. You will be responsible for creating memorable travel experiences for clients, utilizing your expertise in destination knowledge and operational logistics.

• Design, develop, and manage innovative tour itineraries and packages for various destinations.
• Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with suppliers, including hotels, transport providers, and activity operators.
• Ensure the profitability and quality standards of all tours operated.
• Handle all logistical aspects of tour operations, including bookings, confirmations, and client communication.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Conduct market research to identify new tour opportunities and trends.

• Proven experience in Tour Operations or Travel Management, with a strong understanding of the tourism industry.
• Excellent knowledge of travel destinations, cultures, and logistics.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in travel reservation systems and GDS is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
