Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Catering Operations Assistant to support their remote catering management team in East London . You will assist in coordinating the logistical aspects of catering events, ensuring that all operational details are managed efficiently. This role involves communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless event execution, even from a distance.
You will be instrumental in the planning and smooth running of events, supporting a dynamic and growing catering business that embraces remote operational strategies.
- Assist in coordinating event logistics, including scheduling, vendor management, and resource allocation.
- Communicate effectively with clients to confirm event details, dietary requirements, and special requests.
- Liaise with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of menu items.
- Maintain accurate event records, including client information, order details, and invoices.
- Support the development of operational plans and checklists for event execution.
- Address client inquiries and operational concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Previous experience in administration, logistics, or event support, preferably in the catering or hospitality sector.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
