Process personal laundry, PPE, and camp linens in a remote Nunavut lodge while following hygiene and safety protocols.
Dexterra Group seeks a Laundry Room Attendant for efficient, timely laundry operations. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, track, and return laundry while preventing cross-contamination. The position supports housekeeping in a remote lodge environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect, count, weigh, and log personal laundry
- Wash, dry, fold, and return laundry on schedule
- Process PPE using designated machines and tracking procedures
- Clean lint traps and maintain laundry equipment logs
- Keep the laundry room clean and organized
- Commercial laundry, housekeeping, or camp experience is an asset
- Basic familiarity with industrial washers and dryers
- Accurate laundry volume tracking and recordkeeping
- WHMIS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
