Remote Beverage and Bar Operations Specialist

• Develop and curate beverage menus and cocktail recipes for virtual and hybrid events.
• Source and vet beverage suppliers and virtual mixologists, establishing strong partnerships.
• Oversee the logistics of beverage kit delivery to event attendees, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for virtual bar service and beverage fulfillment.
• Provide guidance and training to virtual mixologists and on-site bar staff as needed.
• Monitor beverage quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction throughout event execution.
• Manage beverage budgets, track expenses, and optimize cost-effectiveness for all events.
• Analyze event performance data related to beverage services to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Stay abreast of evolving beverage trends, craft cocktails, and innovative delivery methods.
• Liaise with event planners and clients to understand their specific beverage requirements and preferences.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in beverage management, bar operations, mixology, or hospitality management, with a focus on event services.
• Proven expertise in developing beverage programs and managing bar operations.
• Strong knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, mixology, and current industry trends.
• Experience with logistics and supply chain management, particularly for perishable goods.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects remotely, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in relevant software for inventory management, budgeting, and project tracking.
• Creative flair and a passion for delivering exceptional beverage experiences.
• Understanding of food safety and alcohol service regulations is essential.
• A sommelier or mixology certification is a plus.
