For our internal Hotel Applications team at our headquarters in Zurich we are looking for a committed individual to join us immediately or by arrangement, who will help support and develop our hotel applications – above all the property management system (PMS) protel and the point-of-sale system (POS) Lightspeed. Do you know day-to-day hotel operations from the front office or reservations, and would you like to bring your expertise to the interface between hotel operations and IT?

Your responsibilities:

• Support, administration and configuration of our application landscape, in particular the PMS protel and the POS Lightspeed
• 1st and 2nd level support for our hotels – from error analysis to resolution
• Incident and problem management, and coordination with external software partners to find solutions
• Creating and maintaining documentation, manuals and training concepts
• Planning and delivering training for hotel staff
• Contributing to projects and leading sub-projects, e.g. the roll‑out of new applications and process optimisation
• On‑site support at our hotels for go‑lives, roll‑outs and training, which involves regular travel in Switzerland and abroad

Your Profile:

• Completed education in hospitality (e.g. apprenticeship or hotel management school)
• Several years of experience in front office or reservations, ideally in a supervisory or management role
• Good to very good knowledge of protel or a comparable PMS; experience with Lightspeed or another POS is a plus
• A genuine interest in IT and openness to new technologies
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Independent, structured and solution‑oriented way of working, both on your own and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A positive, can‑do attitude that inspires those around you

Fluency in English, spoken and written, and German or French as a second language
