Position Overview

As a People Relations Partner, you will collaborate with senior team members to investigate and resolve people‑relations matters, coach leaders on performance, progressive discipline, and corrective action, and focus on risk mitigation. You will also support ADA and leave administration, collaborate with Talent Development and Talent Management, and help shape people initiatives that elevate the employee experience.

What You Will Do People Relations, Managing Performance & Risk Mitigation
  • Guide and coach managers in progressive discipline and corrective action, prioritizing multiple cases in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
  • Effectively organize and manage time to progress multiple cases day‑to‑day and week‑to‑week, extending hours as needed for time‑sensitive matters across time zones.
  • Support the evolution of our toolkit of templates, guidelines, and resources for managers in partnership with the Talent Development Manager.
  • Assist leaders in documenting progressive discipline and ensuring corrective action steps are followed through to mitigate risk.
  • Guide managers on developing and executing Performance Improvement Plans with the Talent Development Manager.
  • Intake complaints and manage the investigation process, consulting with senior People Relations on actions and next steps.
  • Lead with compassion and company values to understand individuals’ situations and influence managers before judgments.
  • Communicate people matters affecting other People Operations departments, such as Payroll & Benefits or Talent Management.
  • Utilize the HRIS and company technology for tracking, recording documentation, and reporting.
  • Facilitate exit interviews for voluntary resignations to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor retention and turnover trends, recommending actions to improve.
  • Execute the involuntary termination process and ensure proper approval.
  • Prepare and finalize severance agreements when appropriate.
Accommodation & Leave Administration
  • Execute the accommodation process for assigned cases following ADA compliance and track necessary documentation.
  • Intake and initiate leave administration, then hand off to the benefits administration team or third‑party leave administrator.
Team Member Support Resources
  • Advocate for and communicate team member support resources, such as the One Core Mindfulness Programming, Employee Assistance Program, Calm, and third‑party mindfulness coach.
  • Promote and participate in the company’s diversity council to connect, raise awareness on DEI matters, and implement change.
