The Senior Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for collaboratively driving strategic HR initiatives with enabling functions leadership teams (e.g., Quality, IT, etc.). This role partners closely with business leaders to design and implement people strategies that drive organizational effectiveness, talent development, and cultural alignment. The Senior HR Business Partner will ensure that HR initiatives support business objectives while fostering an inclusive and high-performance environment.
This position reports to the Director of Human Resources and is part of the Human Resources department located in Iowa and will be fully remote within the United States.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Responsibilities- Partner with global business leaders on initiatives that focus on attracting, developing, and retaining talent aligned with the business strategy through talent management, talent acquisition, change management, performance management, and related activities.
- Drive organizational design and change management initiatives, including reorganization efforts that enable agility and future capability.
- Facilitate workforce planning and role redesign to support evolving business needs while maintaining employee engagement and retention.
- Coach and mentor senior leaders to strengthen leadership capability, foster inclusive behaviors, and support effective decision-making during times of transformation.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations and compliance issues through a logical and systematic approach.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 9+ years of experience in HR partner roles and working in a matrix environment
- Experience supporting multiple client groups, adapting to the needs of a fast-changing biotechnology-oriented environment
- Experience with continuous improvement practices
- Experience with reorganization change management including merger and acquisition due diligence
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Demonstrated experience in LEAN, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong conflict resolution skills and a solid background in conducting investigations
