Job Description
- Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
- Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the Hiring Manager.
- Maintains allocated job boards including Linked In, Smart Recruiter, Volunteermatch, Chezuba, and Handshake.
- Act as a resource to candidates by responding to questions throughout the hiring process.
- Assists supervisors with job board research.
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience preferred.
- Must be available to volunteer 8-10 hours a week.
