Where you will workThis position offers a hybrid work option (up to 50% remote) and is based out of the Lakeville, MN;
Mankato, MN;
Sun Prairie, WI or Naperville, IL office location(s).
This position is responsible for the overall benefits program administration in Compeer. Serves as the benefits liaison between Farm Credit Foundations and Compeer Financial and is responsible for benefits communications, enrollment and the advancement of wellness initiatives. Responsible for administering, managing and coordinating the support for all leave of absence, including FMLA and Workers' Compensation claims.
A typical day- Manage and administer all aspects of leave programs, providing end-to-end case management for FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation, USERRA, pregnancy-related leaves, and other applicable programs.
- Coordinate closely with payroll to ensure accurate tracking of leave hours and pay.
- Review, interpret, and apply medical documentation to determine leave eligibility while ensuring HIPAA and team member privacy standards are met.
- Maintain regular communication with team members on leave and coordinate return-to-work activities.
- Manage Short- and Long-Term Disability programs and vendor relationships, ensuring seamless coordination between disability and leave programs.
- Serve as a liaison between Farm Credit Foundations and Compeer Financial for group benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement, and 401(k) plans.
- Communicate benefits information clearly and effectively to increase awareness, understanding, and utilization.
- Manage benefits enrollment processes for new hires, life events, and annual open enrollment.
- Respond to team member inquiries with accuracy, professionalism, and care.
- Support the design and administration of unique benefit and wellness offerings, including Total Wellness initiatives and the Dependent Scholarship Program.
- Facilitate wellness programs and serve as a resource to office Wellness Champions.
- Present benefit offerings during new-hire orientation and submit required payroll maintenance.
- Administer and manage Compeer's team member rewards programs.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field - or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three or more years of experience in human resources or a related field, with preference given to candidates with benefits or leave administration experience.
- Working knowledge of federal and state leave laws, including FMLA and Workers' Compensation.
- Understanding of benefit programs and ability to interpret Summary Plan Documents.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and One Note.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate across teams.
- Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable navigating change.

The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for variable compensation and other benefits.
Base Pay
