If so, we invite you to join our team as a Human Resources Business Partner serving LA County. In this highly visible and hands‑on role, you’ll be the primary HR advisor for our operational leaders, providing expert guidance on employee relations, organizational development, and workforce planning—while spending 3 to 4 days per week visiting the facilities you support.

What You’ll Do
  • Be a Trusted Advisor:
Build strong relationships with Executive Directors, Directors of Nursing, Market Leaders, and Clinical Market Leaders. Help them understand and leverage the value HR brings to operations.
  • Communicate with Clarity and Influence:
Translate HR data, trends, and legal considerations into strategic recommendations that leaders can act on.
  • Engage in the Field:
Maintain a best practice of visiting your assigned facilities 3–4 times per week to stay connected, proactive, and visible.
  • Support People Operations:
Advise on employee relations, terminations, performance management, and HR compliance.
  • Drive Onboarding and Development:
Support the onboarding of new leaders and help identify market‑specific training needs in collaboration with Learning & Development.
  • Lead Through Change:
Support the HR aspects of acquisitions, including integration planning and cultural alignment.
  • Audit and Improve:
Review HR practices, monitor affirmative Action programs, and identify process improvements across your markets.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of progressive HR experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills—you know how to speak “operations” and build trust fast.
  • Proven ability to coach leaders, handle sensitive employee matters, and influence outcomes.
  • Experience with Workday and a solid understanding of federal and state labor laws.
  • Strong organizational, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to travel regularly—50–75% road and air travel, including 3–4 on‑site facility visits weekly.
