Position Overview
AMS Impact Group is seeking a strategic and service-oriented
** Human Resources Generalist
** to provide multi-campus HR support across the organization.
This role functions as a shared services partner, supporting campus and central office teams in employee relations, compliance, onboarding, culture, engagement, and HR operations. The HR Generalist will play a critical role in fostering a positive and compliant workplace environment while ensuring alignment with organizational policies, employment regulations, and strategic people initiatives.
This position requires strong relationship-building skills, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, multi-state educational environment.
** Key Responsibilities
**** Employee Relations & Culture
*** Serve as a trusted advisor to campus leaders and employees on HR-related matters.
* Provide guidance on performance management in alignment with established processes and policies.
* Conduct thorough and objective workplace investigations when necessary.
* Promote a culture of compliance, accountability, and respectful workplace practices.
* Partner with leadership to strengthen engagement and foster high-performing teams.
* Analyze employee engagement data and recommend targeted improvement strategies.
* Support recognition and engagement initiatives that align with organizational goals.
** HR Operations & Compliance
*** Support onboarding processes, including new hire documentation and orientation.
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
* Administer and monitor HRIS systems (Workday preferred).
* Provide employees with guidance on policies, procedures, and benefits.
* Maintain accurate employee records and ensure audit readiness.
* Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate timekeeping and compensation processes.
* Assist with HR analytics, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
** Training & Development
*** Deliver HR-related training for managers and employees.
* Provide guidance and coaching to campus administration on leadership best practices.
* Support implementation of employee development programs and engagement initiatives.
** Qualifications & Competencies
**** Required Qualifications
*** Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
* Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirements.
* Experience working with HRIS platforms (Workday strongly preferred).
* Ability to obtain and maintain required state clearances.
* Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Some campus travel required to support employee relations and engagement initiatives.
* Ability to maneuver between campuses as needed.
* Must be able to operate standard office equipment and work at a computer for extended periods.
