Where You’ll Work

This is a hybrid role based in Fredericton, New Brunswick
. You’ll work from home most of the time, with occasional in‑office days for collaboration, meetings, or team events.

Candidates must be located in or near the Fredericton area.

What You Will Do

We are seeking an organized, proactive, and people‑focused HR Coordinator to support the day‑to‑day operations of the HR function. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing processes, coordinating employee lifecycle activities, and improving how HR systems and programs run.

As the HR Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, HR administration, HRIS data integrity, and employee support. This position will work closely with leaders and employees across the organization to ensure a smooth and consistent employee experience. This position offers a base salary range of $52,000 to $58,000 CAD, depending on experience.

The HR Coordinator will support key organizational objectives and have key responsibilities such as:

Recruitment
  • Lead recruitment activities including job postings, candidate communication, interviewing, and reference checks.
  • Support hiring managers through the recruitment process by ensuring timelines and steps are tracked and followed.
  • Assist with offer letter preparation and onboarding planning.
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
  • Lead onboarding and offboarding activities, including documentation, checklists, and internal communication.
  • Own day‑to‑day HRIS workflows and process improvements. Maintain accurate employee records and HR data within the HRIS.
  • Support employee changes such as promotions, transfers, compensation updates, and terminations.
  • Assist with benefits administration and support employee questions related to benefits and HR processes.
HR Programs & Coordination
  • Support performance review cycles by tracking deadlines, documentation, and process steps.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, and culture‑related programs.
  • Coordinate training activities and support learning & development initiatives.
Reporting & Process Improvement
  • Prepare basic HR reports and dashboards.
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to HR workflows and employee experience.
  • Assist with policy rollouts and ensuring employees have access to updated resources.
Employee Support
  • Serve as a first point of contact for general HR questions and requests.
  • Escalate employee relations matters or complex issues to the HR Advisor as appropriate.
  • Support a positive, professional, and confidential HR experience.
