The Manager, Talent Acquisition will lead and execute recruitment strategies to attract, engage, and hire top talent for s role requires a dynamic, results‑driven professional with experience in managing a full‑cycle recruitment process, building strong partnerships with business leaders, and driving continuous improvement in talent acquisition practices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the retail industry and be passionate about aligning talent with business goals.

Essential

Functions
  • Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies that align with the company's business objectives for the retail home office, distribution centers, and stores.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to understand workforce needs and anticipate hiring demands.
Recruitment Process Management
  • Oversee full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring across all levels and functions within the organization.
  • Ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience from application through onboarding.
  • Identify, attract, and hire top talent for various functions within our retail organization
  • Proactively source and engage with potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.
  • Communicate effectively with candidates and hiring managers, providing timely updates and feedback.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters and talent acquisition specialists, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to achieve recruitment goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
Stakeholder Partnership
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including HR business partners, hiring managers, and external recruitment agencies.
  • Provide guidance and training to hiring managers on best practices for interviewing and candidate selection.
Employer Branding
  • Champion the company’s employer brand by developing and promoting initiatives that position the organization as an employer of choice in the retail industry.
  • Partner with Marketing and Communications to create compelling recruitment marketing materials.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within the talent acquisition process, ensuring diverse talent pools are sourced and that hiring practices are equitable.
Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Utilize data and analytics to monitor recruitment performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize the talent acquisition process.
  • Report on key metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire, to senior leadership.
Compliance and Best Practices
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and innovative recruitment technologies.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Proven experience recruiting across a variety of functions, including corporate, distribution, and retail.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Ability to develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies.

Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.

Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.

A proactive and strategic thinker with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
