What is my day to day like? As a Human Resources Intern, you'll support key areas of our HR function, including Talent Development, Benefits & Compensation, and Talent Acquisition. This role provides a unique opportunity to learn how HR contributes to organizational growth and employee engagement.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with Performance Management and Employee Engagement initiatives including post-survey action planning and skill certification programs.
* Support the administration and maintenance of our Learning Management System (LMS) and other training tools.
* Providing administrative and coordination support HR teams at both corporate and plant levels.
* Contributing to day-to-day operations special HR projects.
What makes a person successful in this position.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* Intermediate Excel skills, including data analysis, charting, and graphing.
* Strong communication skills-both written and verbal-with attention to accuracy and detail.
* A proactive, collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn.
What will my schedule be like?
During the course of the Summer Internship Program, you will work M-F up to 40 hours a week. A typical day will be 8:30 am-5:00 pm with a break for lunch. Remote work opportunities are available 2 days a week with prior manager approval.
