STR is seeking a Recruiting Manager to fill open positions across a company of over 700 employees. The positions will range from various facilities roles to Community Directors. The Recruiting Manager will work actively with the Owner, President, and area Vice Presidents for each assigned apartment community. The position will be based at the home office in Memphis, TN, and report to the Director of Recruiting.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Work with company team members to identify any unique criteria needed to fill open positions, including new acquisition properties.
- Post open positions on various job boards and screen potential candidates.
- Schedule, confirm and communicate candidate interviews throughout the interview process.
- Use internal ATS platforms to track candidate progression.
- Collect all needed pre-hire applications and authorization documents from potential candidates.
- Complete credit, criminal, drug, employee testing and reference screening for final applicants.
- Work with management team to generate an offer letter for final applicant.
- Ensure all pre-employment requirements are met and a start date is set.
- Send new team members the payroll app, company benefits and uniform information.
- Maintain good communication with the active candidates, new team members and hiring managers throughout the interview and onboarding process.
- Other recruiting-related tasks, as assigned.
The qualified candidate will meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Individual will possess a college degree.
- Individual will possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a recruiter.
- Individual will have strong customer service skills and proven results over the telephone.
- Individual will possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Individual will be able to handle multiple tasks and projects at one time.
- Individual will have excellent organizational skills.
- Individual will be proficient with Microsoft Office, social media and various recruiting platforms.
