Talent Manager, Employee Relations
Overview
The HR Advisor is responsible for using a proactive consultative approach with clients to provide customized and practical HR solutions to challenges across a range of HR functions including best practices for talent selection, compensation, employee relations, leave administration, performance management, employee benefits, policies and procedures, training and development, and regulatory compliance. HR Advisor will also increase efficiency with the isolved technology, implement appropriate solutions, and move clients from tactical to strategic for better candidate and employee experiences that reduce client turnover and associated issues.

- Bachelor's degree (required)
- PHR and/or SHRM-CP preferred
- Current, valid Driver's license
- Strong HR Generalist: 5+ years of HR experience with at least 2 years in HR consulting with emphasis on employee relations, employee engagement, compliance, policies and processes, training, and coaching leadership teams
- Computer proficiency:
Microsoft Suite, G-Suite, payroll reporting and HR admin familiarity - Must be able to get to the point with clients, resolve issues and give concise advice
- Extensive Knowledge of federal and state employment laws: FMLA, ADA, EEO and EEO-1, FLSA, I-9s, benefits administration, audits, NLRB, OSHA record keeping, background/drug test process
- Experience investigating and managing claims: workers comp, unemployment, wage/hr, and EEOC Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work both independently to provide solutions to the client and as part of a team on multiple projects
- Strong consulting skills and ability to exceed client expectations with a proactive approach
- Strong initiative and follow-through skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to solve HR-related problems and communicate with multiple clients

- Salient work:
