This role is a hybrid position - 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home so applicants must live in New York, NY, NJ and be able to commute to the office.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Coordinate interview scheduling, manage follow-up communications, and support hiring committee preparation.
- Assist with candidate outreach initiatives.
- Support talent acquisition programs, including campus recruiting and summer associate hiring.
- Organize summer associate work assignments, training sessions, and social events.
- Assist with scheduling and logistics for new hire orientation.
- Track and monitor local recruiting budgets.
- Coordinate local associate relations events and in-house attorney training programs.
- Collaborate with global Talent Development colleagues to execute firmwide initiatives, including coaching programs and training academies.
- Monitor Associate Relations and Professional Development budgets.
- Participate in special events, which may occasionally require evening and/or weekend availability.
- Travel as needed to support programs and initiatives.
- Contribute to additional related projects as assigned.
- Advanced proficiency of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong experience coordinating training programs and events.
- Foundational understanding of campus recruiting or legal recruiting practices.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a professional services or legal environment.
- 2+ years of experience in human resources, law school career services, attorney recruiting, and/or attorney development (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree required.
