• Own and ensure compliance for payroll in your jurisdiction(s)
• Translate local legislation into structured requirements for product and engineering teams
• Lead multi-country audits and compliance programs, driving improvements and remediation
• Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance issues and facilitate incident resolution
• Create and document scalable processes and governance frameworks for payroll compliance operations

• Deep expertise in payroll and employment compliance specific to your country or region
• Proven experience leading audits and regulatory reviews
• Strong communication skills for influencing stakeholders across multiple departments
• Ability to mentor and coach team members to enhance their capabilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fully remote environment

• Experience partnering with technical teams to convert statutory rules into product requirements
• Background in designing frameworks, documentation, processes, and controls that scale
• Confident investigator with strong judgment in high-risk scenarios
• Familiarity with global payroll systems and compliance maturity frameworks
