YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
The What: As our People Operations Partner, you are the backbone of our HR operations. You ensure that our employees are supported throughout their entire lifecycle – professionally, compliantly and with empathy. From payroll and contracts to policies and offboarding, you combine legal accuracy with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and a strong focus on scalable processes.
The Why: As we grow and expand internationally, our people operations are becoming more complex. This role ensures compliant, reliable, and scalable People operations, creates a consistent employee experience, and brings structure and clarity to our processes—while freeing up leadership to focus on growing the business.
Ownership of payroll operations(Germany and international) in collaboration with external providers
Drafting, managing and maintaining employment contracts and accordingly the documentation
Ensuring compliance with German labor law, social security and regulations
Managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, leave management, employee inquiries and benefits administration)
Maintaining and continuously improving the employee handbookand People operations policies
Supporting visa, relocation and international People operations topics
Supporting, coordinating and managinginternal events and people initiatives
Maintaining People operations data, reports and systems (e.g. Personio)
Proactively identifying opportunities for process optimization, automation and smart tooling
At least two years of experience inPeople Operations / HR Operations / HR Generalist roles
Strong knowledge ofGerman labor and social security law
Hands-on mindsetand comfort in a broad, end-to-end People operations role
High attention to detail, reliability and ownership mentality
Service-oriented, supportive and solution-driven approach
Experience in fast-paced environments (startup / scale-up) is a plus
Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g. Personio) and interest in automation & AI
Fluent in German and English (both C-level)
