Job Purpose
This is a temporary position for a period of 6 months, created to support the HR team in our Swiss office, with an intended start date of April 1st. The Payroll Coordinator would provide structured operational support to the Payroll Manager, with a strong focus on Swiss payroll execution, compliance, and coordination.
Job Responsibilities / Roles Payroll Operations Support (Switzerland)- Collection, verification, and consolidation of payroll inputs (salary changes, sickness absences, bonuses, variable elements) under the supervision of the Payroll Manager
- First-level checks and controls to ensure payroll accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Support in month-end and year-end payroll activities including year-end closure related tasks
- Management and follow-up of employee payroll-related supporting documents
- Support in handling social security, pension fund and insurance declarations Coordination with external providers and authorities such as Social security, pension provider, LPP, insurers, tax authorities, payroll providers, insurance broker
- Support in payroll internal and external audits and social security audit
- Support and back up on Time and absences tracking
Follow up on new legislation related to French border - Follow up on family allowances
- Act as operational backup to ensure payroll continuity during absences
- Support structured knowledge transfer and documentation of payroll processes
- Liaison with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers
- Contribution to process standardization and documentation
- Tracking payroll actions, deadlines, and statutory obligations
- Updating payroll systems and maintaining data accuracy in our HR global tool Workday
- Supporting continuous improvement of payroll processes and controls
- Solid experience and strong expertise in Swiss payroll
- Good understanding of Swiss social security, pension, and payroll compliance requirements
- Service oriented
- High level of accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail
- Strong advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work in a structured international and process driven environment
- Fluent in French and English (mandatory)
- German/Italian would be a strong asset, depending on the payroll scope
