- Lead the Compensation Refresh for CST roles in support of the 2030 ambition, including base salary and short‑term incentives.
- Conduct analysis and prepare recommendations regarding the development and implementation of CST compensation programs and practices.
- Act as a thought leader in the design and execution of CST short‑term incentives, ensuring alignment with firm strategy and goals.
- Conduct annual pay benchmark studies to evaluate the competitiveness of pay levels and programs.
- Serve as an advisor and subject‑matter expert for leveling CST jobs at the firm.
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Business Partners and Talent Development on matters relating to leveling and pay for CST roles.
- Build strong relationships with Associate Relations, Legal, Finance, and HRBP partners to ensure recommendations represent a cross‑functional view.
- Partner with CST and HO Experience teams on recognition opportunities.
- Assist in developing communications and training to improve overall understanding of compensation programs.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other Compensation Team members to ensure consistency of service to our business units.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 12+ years’ experience in Compensation, preferably in the Financial Services industry.
- Significant experience in compensation design for field‑facing roles.
- Advanced understanding of compensation philosophy and practices.
- Comprehensive understanding of other HR functional areas.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills; ability to work with large amounts of confidential data.
- Subject‑matter expert in compensation theory, design, and practice.
- Independent decision‑making and judgment.
- High degree of independence and autonomy; ability to operate independently with limited supervision.
- Persuade and influence all levels of business stakeholders and partners.
- Implement simple and complex firm‑wide and HC strategies across groups within Home Office and/or CST.
- Identify and solve problems through critical thinking, providing alternative solutions to stakeholders and leaders.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).
- People Soft and Oracle HCM experience.
- Requirement to work hybrid:
Candidates living within commutable distance of Tempe, AZ or St. Louis, MO home offices are expected to work in the office four days per week after 1‑June‑2026 (three days pre‑launch).

Hiring Minimum: $120,000;
Hiring Maximum: $204,300.
This role is posted as hybrid. If selected and accepted, you may retain your home‑based status. Edward Jones intends in good faith to continue offering the role as home‑based, though future business or regulatory needs may require on‑site work.
