Vaco is seeking a high-impact Healthcare Recruiter to support one of the largest nurse hiring initiatives in the state of Indiana. This contract opportunity plays a critical role in reducing reliance on traveling nurses and supporting major hospital expansions—including new facility growth in Fort Wayne. This is a fast-moving, performance-driven environment where recruiters directly impact patient care and hospital operations. This is a temporary contract role last 3+ months. This role can be done fully remote.

You will manage full-cycle recruitment for experienced Registered Nurses across multiple hospital units.

• Manage 30-40 active jobs
• Support 3-4 hospital leaders/units simultaneously
• Execute full lifecycle recruiting:
  • Intake meetings
  • Sourcing & outreach
  • Candidate screening
  • Interview coordination
  • Offer creation
  • Onboarding support
• Drive top-of-funnel generation (critical focus area)
• Complete a minimum of 75 sourcing outreaches per week
• Achieve hiring goal of approximately 14 hires per month (4+ per week)

This role requires heavy sourcing and proactive outreach. Success depends on response rates, pipeline development, and consistent KPI execution.
