Job Overview

GAC Enterprises is looking for a proactive, organized, and people-focused HR Generalist/Recruiter to join our growing team. In this hybrid role, you'll be instrumental in managing talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance while helping shape a positive workplace culture. We're seeking someone with previous experience in an HR Coordinator or Generalist role who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment & Onboarding
    • Manage the talent acquisition system and pre-screen candidates
    • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers
    • Facilitate offer letters and new hire onboarding paperwork
    • Coordinate background checks, MVRs, drug screens, and equipment shipments
    • Assist with travel accommodations and new hire orientations
  • Benefits & Compensation
    • Enroll new hires into benefits platforms and monitor enrollment deadlines
    • Administer compensation changes, life event updates, and assist with open enrollment
    • Support payroll, expense, and reimbursement processes
  • Employee Relations & Compliance
    • Handle employee complaints and investigations to maintain a positive work culture
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws, OSHA, and local/state employment regulations
    • Maintain and update employee files and HR documentation
  • Performance & Policy Support
    • Assist with goal setting, performance reviews, and training initiatives
    • Support the development and communication of HR policies and procedures
    • Maintain and help update the employee handbook
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or Coordinator
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and problem-solve under pressure
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Adaptable and calm under pressure—able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Schedule

Monday-Friday, Full-Time (Hybrid role with flexible office/work-from-home time)
