Description of WorkThis position performs human resource work for the Department of Corrections Human Resource Office to assist in labor relations duties for employee relations managers at State Correctional Institution (SCI) Camp Hill and the Department of Corrections Training Academy. You will assist in gathering investigative information, PDC documentation, conducting PDCs, and composing and issuing discipline letters as recommended by facility managers.

Work Schedule and Additional Information- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch
- Telework:
You may have the opportunity to work from home part-time; up to 1 day per week; after successful completion of a 6-month probationary period. Telework requires a securely configured high-speed internet connection and an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you may report to the headquarters office in Camp Hill, PA. Telework is subject to change.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements
- Successful completion of the Human Resource Management Trainee program (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year as a Human Resource Assistant 2 or an Equal Opportunity Assistant; (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of paraprofessional analytical experience and a bachelor’s degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
